For some reason the latest trend for California (and I'm sure other areas) has been frozen yogurt shops. The popular one is Pinkberry, which has gained many customers over the past few years and since then similar stores have emerged. All within a few blocks we have Pinkberry, Yogurt Fun, Golden Spoon, Great American Yogurt, Yogurt Land and my new favorite Yo Yum Yum. Jamie took me there a few days ago and I'm obsessed. It's all self-serve, so you choose your flavor(s) of yougurt, and add your desired toppings and then pay by weight. My first one was .95 lbs but now that I'm a more experience Yo Yum Yum-er, I've worked my way up to 1.3lbs. Jamie thinks that's ridiculous but the lady that works there says the most a customer has spent on one yogurt was $15! And mine was only $4 something, weak. Don't worry, I'm not shooting to break the $15 record, I'm just going for a PR. You know, the athlete way: improve every time. Good thing I'm only home for a few more days or I'd be in trouble! Haha. At least it's health-ish until I add my toppings. :)
